I may earn a small commission or products from the companies mentioned in this post. All opinions expressed are my own.

So, this year, I had my second baby on 11/1. I turned 34 on 12/12. I had decided that this was going to be “The Year of Botox” (I will get into when to take the plunge in a later post!)

But then, since the summer, I started using MicroNight from Neocutis. Neocutis is a brand developed in Switzerland at the prestigous Medical School at the University Hospital of Lausanne over years of research for wound healing, particularly pediatric burns. It is a medical line only available through a licensed Physician. (DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT attempt to buy this on Amazon!)

I originally fell in love with the brand’s patented Bio line that features actual Human Growth Hormone for their Growth Factors, but received a sample of the Micro line after a training with a Rep from Neocutis. After applying it, I immediately felt my skin tighten! By morning, I noticed that my expression lines on my forehead were diminished almost overnight! Now the effect has been cumulative and I no longer even see the tiny dynamic lines that once creased my forehead .

MPC, or the Micro Protein Complex are specific Micro Proteins necessary for the formation of Collagens I, III, and VII. It also contains Elastin and Hyaluronic Acid for complete firming and hydration of the epidermis. This revolutionizes anti-aging technology because it addresses all 5 of the key components of the Extra Cellular Matrix ( a large component of normal skin produced by the cells that it surrounds- comprised of polysaccharides, water and collagen) that impact aging- 3 types of Collagen, Elastin and Hyaluronic Acid. In short- it replenishes your skin on a cellular level- collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid decrease over time with the age. Scientifically, collagen starts to decline at age 27. (Mother Nature you are so cruel!) But now there’s this- you can replenish what is lost! Wait until you see the result!!

Hi doll! You can find it in spas and Dr offices where a physician is licensed to carry it. It retails for $130 and it’s worth every damned penny! You can get it at all three Bella locations! 😘😘

  2. I’m about to be 35 and I’m ferling the Botox pressure too … my mom will tell me not to make certain expressions 😂 So this product would replace Botox?

😂😂 I feel like I’ve already started telling my 4 year old daughter not to frown so much!! Lol. So.. the short answer is No. This product doesn’t fill in wrinkles or modulate the musculoskeletal nerves that Botox does… however, it does help boost collagen to the areas applied which can give the skin a more plumped and smooth appearance. I would say try it for 6 months and if you still feel like you are seeing more fine lines than you’d like, take the Botox plunge! I’m going to post very soon in more detail about when to get Botox! 😘😘💋

  3. Hi! Love your blog! I’m just getting introduced to this line and want to know what you think of their use of parabens? I was surprised to find so many in their products as most lines are moving away from them. What are your thoughts as to why they would still use them? Thanks!

Hi Wendy!! What an excellent question as well as inspiration for a later blog post! I will get into more detail in the post, but my short answer is that Parabens are not concerning to me. They are a preservative, which is an essential ingredient in any product to ensure it stays free of bacteria as well as remains effective until its expiration date- products that do not contain parabens simply contain a different preservative that hasn’t been as widely studied. I love to feature all different kinds of lines on this blog, and therefore will have many paraben-free active Skincare lines for my readers to choose from if they are concerned about them. I personally do not avoid them in my Skincare products. 😘😘😘

  4. Any recommended places in San Diego to get this??
